🌞Body Training: Yoga with Margaux

Namaste, blues dancers!

How are your shufflin’ feet and fishtailin’ hips holding up?

After long nights of groovin’ and pulsin’, your body deserves a delicious pause. Come melt into a yummy Hatha yoga session designed just for you — dancers who know the power of both fire and flow. We’ll ease into the day by tuning into the pulse of your breath, stretching out those well-loved muscles, and finding space in your joints.

Think: groundedness, juicy spinal twists, open chests, and hips that sway with more freedom than ever. Together, we’ll explore the core elements of Hatha: strength and softness, stability and surrender.

No need to be an expert. Just bring your tired legs and your beautiful bluesy self.

Your body will thank you.

Margaux is a certified Hatha yoga teacher and a lover of blues dance. Her classes blend traditional yoga with a somatic approach, offering a space to listen, soften, and reconnect with the body.

✨ Consent and Boundaries on the Social Dance Floor

with Nina Schmitt

⏰ Sunday 18:00

📍 Albert Hall

💙 Free workshop — limited to 8 spots!

Do you sometimes hesitate when asking someone to dance? Wonder how to say no without feeling awkward  or how to say yes while staying true to your needs? Want to feel more confident about expressing your boundaries and checking in with others?

This workshop is for you.

Led by Nina S, a trained facilitator in conflict conversation, this session will explore how to make the dancefloor safer and more joyful — for yourself and everyone around you. We’ll uncover the common barriers that stand in the way of clear communication, and practice tools to overcome them.

Through practical tips, role-play, and open dialogue, you’ll learn how to:

Invite and decline dances with ease and kindness

Communicate your boundaries clearly in the moment

Ask for and give consent within a dance

Build a floor culture where respect, clarity, and care are the norm

Because when we all feel comfortable and empowered, the dance floor becomes a space of true connection and joy.

📩 Sign up: email bluesremixinfo@gmail.com or visit the Registration Desk on Friday.

💡 When we all feel empowered, the dance floor becomes a space of true connection & joy.

🌞Reiki sessions with Nina S.

Reiki is a Japanese practice of energy healing, rooted in the belief that a life force energy flows through all living beings. Practitioners serve as conduits, gently guiding this energy to support the body’s natural healing processes.

As a complementary practice, Reiki aims to restore balance in your life force and energy field — helping you feel grounded, calm, and deeply connected. Many who receive Reiki describe leaving a session with a sense of peace and renewed vitality.

At Blues Remix, one of our own team members is offering to share her Reiki knowledge with you. She has just 5 one-on-one session slots available, so if you’d like to book yours, email us today.

Reconnect. Recharge. Rebalance.
