🎺 A Festival  Built from the Music Up

Every single band and their setlists you’ll hear at Blues Remix Brussels was formed especially for this festival. These aren’t touring acts with pre-made shows — they’re tailor-made ensembles, crafted by hand and heart for you, for this weekend, and for this dancefloor. Their setlists are designed with dancers in mind, blending deep blues tradition with the unique vibe of our community. From the first note to the last encore, what you hear here, you won’t hear anywhere else. This is live music made to move you — body and soul.

🎷 Madame Moustache & Her Gals

Saturday Afternoon at Madame Moustache

From the first blues records to the all-women bands of the 1930s and ‘40s, women have not only shaped the story of the blues — they’ve led it, voiced it, and marched it forward. The six women you’ll hear today channel that legacy with pride, power, and plenty of groove.

Madame Moustache & Her Gals are here to stir your soul and shake the dancefloor. Honouring the legacy of blueswomen like Ma Rainey, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, and the International Sweethearts of Rhythm, they bring a sound that’s rich with history — and alive with swagger. Come sip, sway, and celebrate the brilliance of women in blues — past, present, and unapologetically loud.

🎶 Expect vintage sass, fierce solos, and a sisterhood of sound that keeps the spirit of women in blues blazing strong.
